The 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival Parties

Each year the Cannes Film Festival attracts the biggest celebrities and plays host to some of the most glamorous soirées and events. One of the Festival’s most eagerly awaited evening events was hosted by Chopard in a marquee especially set up for the occasion at Port Canto on the Croisette. In a splendid and luxurious setting, models wearing Chopard’s latest Red Carpet creations and vividly colored gowns by Elie Saab welcomed guests while posing in tableaux vivants. During the evening, the legendary Diana Ross gave a private concert singing her greatest hits. Among the guests were Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Poppy Delevingne, Sonam Kapoor, Pixie Lott, Oliver Cheshire, Araya Hargate, Adriana Lima, Petra Nemcova, Chris Pitanguy, Lottie Moss, Olivier Martinez, Joséphine de la Baume, Kristina Bazan and Aymeline Valade to name a few. For the second year running, the ‘Women In Motion’ program brought together a large number of film industry figures over ten days to discuss the issue of women in cinema. The highlights of the program included the ‘Women In Motion Awards’ which were presented to Gina Davis and Susan Sarandon, who had traveled to Cannes to mark the 25th anniversary of the cult film Thelma & Louise, as well as three young female directors: Leyla Bouzid, Gaya Jiji and Ida Panahandeh. L’Oreal Paris also hosted a ‘Blue Obsession’ party during the 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Hotel Martinez. A-list celebrities and supermodels such as Irina Shayk, Karlie Kloss and Lara Stone walked the blue carpet at the fun event, which included a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Doutzen Kroes at L’Oreal.
