Elie Saab at the 'Résidence des Pins', Beirut

Elie Saab and the French Ambassador in Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, came together to celebrate creativity and the longstanding relationship between Lebanon and France that reflects a common vision based on shared values, creative influences, inspiring ideas and cultural exchange under the theme “La creation ou la culture de l’excellence”.
Long renowned as the first Middle Eastern designer to gain global recognition, Elie Saab is revered as the Lebanese couturier that won the heart of Parisian Haute Couture. As a global brand operating between Beirut and Paris, with a cemented presence in London, New York and every other fashion capital around the world, ELIE SAAB has put Lebanon at the forefront of the international fashion map, continuing to deliver masterpieces of creation, that have propelled the brand and the designer into a symbol of hope, success and exceptional creativity.
During the evening at the Résidence des Pins, a selection of ELIE SAAB Haute Couture pieces were presented to local and international guests, followed by an exquisite dinner prepared by renowned Chef Simone Zanoni from the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris. The Gala dinner was in support of Unicef, the United Nations Children’s fund, focusing on the most disadvantaged children to advocate for measures giving them the best start in life, to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease and discrimination can impose on a child’s life.
