The array of accommodations and amenities offer something for nearly every taste, including visitors seeking a luxurious experience, both in and out of the casino. In fact, in the last several years, Las Vegas has established its place among the ranks of the world's most plush destinations. While it would be next to impossible to list all that the city offers, below is just a small taste of what is available when money is no object.

At the Tower Suites at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, the attention to detail in service and amenities is confirmed by the Forbe's Five Star status. From designer name shopping such as Oscar de la Renta and Manolo Blahnik to an 18-hole private golf course, the property is a luxury lover’s dream come true. Guests can sample award-winning fine dining or partake in an evening of entertainment at Le Rêve. For those craving the ultimate in luxury, the VIP Indulgence Package at Le Rêve offers an evening of extravagance with Perrier-Jouët champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, generous lounge seating, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the show.

Weddings
Las Vegas, known as much for its weddings as it is for its casinos. With more than 80,000 marriage licenses issued annually, Las Vegas is recognized as the “Wedding Capital of the World.” Whether it is eloping on a secret rendezvous, or planning an elaborate ceremony for hundreds of your family and friends, there is no place quite like Las Vegas to make it official.
Part of the allure of getting married in Las Vegas is that it offers the ultimate freedom of choice, ranging from Elvis presiding over a 24-hour drive-through chapel to a lavish soirée at one of the world's premier resorts. Additionally, Las Vegas has minimal requirements and no waiting period, making "quickie" weddings an attractive possibility.

Shopping and attractions
The 500,000-square-foot retail and dining district, The Shops at Crystals, located adjacent to Aria, is one of Las Vegas' premier shopping experiences. The Shops at Crystals showcases an unprecedented array of the world's most exclusive retailers, including many flagship stores. For many of these brands, the Crystals' location represents their largest in Las Vegas, the United States or, in some cases, the world. Luxury retailers include Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Tiffany & Co., Prada, Christian Dior, Bvlgari, Hermès, Roberto Cavalli, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Versace. Crystals is the only Las Vegas location where you will find boutiques by Tom Ford, Donna Karan, TAG Heuer, Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Miu Miu, Paul Smith, Kiki de Montparnasse, Celine and Porsche Design. The gorgeous architecture, convenient location on the Las Vegas Boulevard, and exclusive luxury retailer lineup, make The Shops at Crystals a must-see for any visitor.

High Roller at The LINQ Promenade
The High Roller at The LINQ Promenade is the world’s tallest observation wheel. Towering above The LINQ Promenade’s open-air dining, entertainment and retail district, the High Roller provides spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip and Valley. With sweeping 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip, the wheel takes thirty minutes to complete one revolution and features twenty-eight spacious cabins to accommodate guests. Whether enjoying a standard cabin, a Happy Half Hour open bar or a uniquely crafted experience, the High Roller offers stunning views and a memorable perspective during your Vegas vacation.  Even from the ground, looking up at the High Roller is photogenic as it changes colors depending on special occasion.

Downtown’s famous casino-lined Fremont Street has been converted into a 175,700-square-foot pedestrian area covered by the Viva Vision canopy, the world’s largest graphic display system. Called the Fremont Street Experience, this canopy showcases spectacular light and sound shows every hour on the hour during the evenings. If you are looking for thrills of a different nature, ride “SlotZilla,” the world’s most unique zipline attraction, featuring the 850-foot Zipline and the 1,750-foot Zoomline as people launch from a 12-story slot-machine themed takeoff platform to fly under the Viva Vision canopy.

Explore Beyond the Strip
Many travelers are attracted to the radiance and excitement of Las Vegas, but too few are familiar with the dramatic Southwest landscape that encompasses them. Rugged mountains, red rock canyons and deep desert valleys offer stunning scenery and a myriad of outdoor recreational opportunities. The region's favorable climate makes outdoor activity around Las Vegas an inviting option year-round.

Seven Magic Mountains
About 10 miles south of Las Vegas, along Interstate 15, you’ll spot seven sets of colorful, stacked boulders towering over 30 feet in the desert of the Ivanpah Valley. This outdoor, public art installation is Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains. We recommend visiting during the day to get the full effect of the bright colors in the middle of the desert.

Red Rock Canyon
If you need to take a break away from all the excitement of the city, then a short drive to red rock canyon will be a great place to enjoy nature’s wonders. Red Rock Canyon is located about 25 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. Red Rock Canyon features a one-way 13-mile scenic drive, a Visitor Center that offers information and interpretation about recreation opportunities, wildlife, vegetation of Joshua trees and agave, geological wonders, and cultural resources, a selection of outdoor picnic areas, a wide variety of hiking trails, and scenic vistas that are inspiring to both amateur and professional photographers. If your time is limited, stop at either of the Calico Vista points. Both offer good vantage points for photographs of crossed-bedded Aztec sandstone. Red Rock has geologic features unique to the Mojave Desert that people from all over the world come to see.

Valley of Fire State Park
Valley of Fire State Park is only 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas and comprises scenic landscapes, hidden canyons, unique red rock formations, petroglyphs and remains of ancient Native American civilizations. Valley of Fire is the oldest Nevada State Park and was dedicated in 1935. It was named for the magnificent red sandstone formations that were formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of the dinosaurs more than 150 million years ago (Mesozoic Era).  These brilliant sandstone formations appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun’s rays. The rock formations surround you in brilliant colors of reddish pinks, ocher and umber. Open year round, the park has numerous campsites equipped with shaded tables, grills and water, as well as many intriguing trails to tempt hikers.

What to wear
Cloudy days are rare in Southern Nevada so chances are you will need some cool designer shades regardless of the time of year. During spring and summer months, t-shirts, shorts and athletic shoes are a common sight in the hotels and casinos. If you are going to a five-star restaurant or a gala show, definitely adorn yourself with your finest attire. Since most of the Las Vegas Valley is at an elevation over 2,000 feet, the winter months can be chillier than you might think, particularly in the evenings. Long pants, a sweater and/ or a jacket will make your stay more enjoyable when visiting between late October and early April. Odds are you will cover a lot of ground walking around the large resort properties so make sure your shoes are comfortable, unless you are gearing up for one of the numerous clubs along the strip then by all means ladies, bring out the sky high heels!
