Elie Saab and Christina Mourad's Wedding in Lebanon

Fashion designer Elie Saab and his wife Claudine celebrated the wedding of their eldest son, Elie Saab Junior with Christina Mourad.
They have chosen the mountain resort Faqra in Lebanon as the destination for the festivities. The celebration started on July 18th with a themed Oriental pre-party at the Plateau de Bakish. Christina wore a cream jumpsuit with a gold cape from the Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2019/2020 collection.
On July 19th, the couple tied the knot in a religious ceremony in Bkerki held by the Patriarch, Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, followed by a vin d’honneur organized by Neiman Azzi. The bride wore an ELIE SAAB Haute Couture custom sleeveless tulle embroidered gown made of ivory silk and champagne lurex threads embellished with 500.000 sequins, a high neck bodice and a 4.5 meters trail.
The evening wedding celebration, organized by Ziad Raphael Nassar, took place in Faqra Club in the presence of 1,200 guests, among them Dita Von Teese, Chantal Thomass, Karolina Kurkova, Nadine Labaki, Toni Garrn, Lily Donaldson, Elissa, Nancy Ajram and Assi Hilani.
Christina opted for an ELIE SAAB Haute Couture gold and beige rosé heart shape corset gown with a voluminous skirt and a 3.5 meters trail inspired by the Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2019/2020 collection. The gown is embellished with 650.000 gold sequins and 150.000 Swarovski strass pieces.
The festivities ended with a party at Mr. Saab’s residence in Faqra on Saturday 20th from sunset to sunrise under the infinite shades of the blue summer skies with the bride wearing an aqua marine flowing silk georgette full length dress, embellished with a coral shaped broach from the ELIE SAAB Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2019 collection.
